Would you like to start sewing and learn how to sew garments, accessories and other decorative items?
1) To get started, make sure you have all the basic materials you need for easy sewing.
2) Define your project (and your budget!): you can use patterns from well-known brands and designers like Aime comme Marie or I am Pattern, or use our own step-by-step diagrams and patterns, which you can find in the"Tutorials" tab. We advise you to practice with low-cost fabrics for projects such as clutches, headbands or cushions.
3) Choose the style of your DIY "Do It Yourself" sewing creation: colors, material, texture, elasticity, transparency...
4) Before you start sewing, find the direction of your fabric to ensure that it holds and looks as good as you expect it to.
5) Choose your sewing thread and stitch before installing your bobbin on your sewing machine and starting to stitch!
