What is string art?

String art involves stretching and connecting threads between nails!
Are you a novice wonderinghow to make string art? Nothing could be simpler! String art is easy and accessible to everyone!
You'll need :
- threads
- nails
- hammer
- wooden stand

1. Draw the desired pattern on a blank sheet of paper.
2. Tape the sheet to the wooden support.
3. Drive in the nails, respecting the outline of the pattern, then remove the sheet.
4. Tie the thread of your choice to a nail and make a double knot (apply a dot of glue).
5. connect the nails randomly, keeping the wire taut.
6. Finish with a knot and a dot of glue.

Add Seed beads and customize your wooden support with masking tape, paint or paper patch. Have fun creating shapes, words or phrases by criss-crossing wire. Be creative

Which thread for string art?

You can use hemp thread, natural fiber thread, cotton thread or even wool. Embroidery thread is recommended for very fine results. Combine different thread colors for greater originality.
