For bracelets, the situation is more delicate. Conventional elastic wire can quickly wear out on contact with the sometimes abrasive edges of stone washers. Opt for a high-strength elastic wire such as Crystal Tec or Stretch Magic in 0.5mm.
Clasps also deserve special attention. To enhance the quality of natural stones, combine them with clasps in 925 Sterling Silver, gold-plated stainless steel or even vermeil.

Stone Heishi are often thicker, around 2mm to 4mm thick. For an 18 cm bracelet, you'll need between 45 and 60 beads, depending on the diameter you choose, 6 mm being the most common.
