Resin

Epoxy resin is a thermosetting liquid polymer created from a mixture of two components, hardener and resin.
After hardening, the resin leaves a transparent, smooth and hard surface, without polishing, using silicone molds designed for this purpose.
You can color epoxy jewelry resin with alcohol inks for original effects or with colorants adapted to resins. Pre-colored resin kits are also available.

Different types of resin are available for different uses:

• Glazing resin: also called topping or surfaceresin , to cover a surface and add shine,

• Inclusion resin or crystal resin : an object (dried flowers, elements to be resinated, glitter, microbeads, etc.) is embedded in a large quantity of resin using a mold,

• Flexible resin(Glass Flex): to create layers of flexible resin for subsequent bonding.
