If you're a Taylor Swift fan, or if you know any Swifties who are planning to attend the singer's upcoming concerts, then this tutorial is for you! At concerts, fans fill their arms with these friendshipbracelets and then exchange them. For those unfamiliar with the concept, the idea is to make bracelets in the colors of the different era, i.e. the singer's albums. You can use letter beads to write down lyrics or song names. The Internet and social networks are full of inspiration! Making friendship bracelets is very easy and requires very few tools: just a pair of scissors and a ruler. No need for pliers or other accessories. So get started!
To make these bracelets, Margaux was inspired by Taylor Swift - Debut, the artist's first album, with its green and blue colors. She used Heishi Super Polaris beads for a shiny, glittery effect, seed beads and Heishi rondelle beads. You can personalize this tutorial as you wish with our white or colored letter bead sets. Of course, this tutorial is not just for Swifties, and you can have fun reproducing it to your heart's content!
In the last 2 steps of the tutorial, you'll also find variations on the friendship bracelets: Béné suggests purple tones for the Speak Now album, and Julie has chosen the Fearless album, with its bright, golden colors. You can also find another version of friendship bracelets in a tutorial by Tiffanie, Agathe and Carla.
If you reproduce this tutorial, we invite you to share your creation with us on social networks, mentioning Perles & Co on your post. We love to see the beautiful creations you make!

Cut about 30cm of thread and place a clothespin at the end to prevent your beads from slipping. Start stringing some of the green and blue beads in the kit.

Then string the letter beads to form the word of your choice. You can slip a gold bead between each word.

Once your beads are strung, tie a double surgeon's knot.

Reproduce the following two bracelets. That's all there is to it!

You can also make these bracelets inspired by the Speak Now album, which features purple.
