In this new DIY jewelry tutorial, discover how to easily make a personalized adjustable heart ring decorated with gemstone beads and mother-of-pearl pearls. Starting with a heart-shaped 304L stainless steel adjustable ring holder, you'll learn step-by-step how to attach the beads using anti-tarnish copper wire, ideal for ensuring a good hold and a long-lasting finish. This highly fashionable type of ring can also be adapted to other bracket shapes, such as round or oval. In the tutorial basket, you'll find several ring holders to personalize, so you can vary the style to suit your taste.
The 304L stainless steel adjustable ring-holder is particularly appreciated in jewelry design for its resistance to oxidation, durability and comfort when worn. Easy to maintain, stainless steel is ideal for everyday use. Combined with gemstone beads, it creates a ring that's both elegant and robust: the natural stones add an authentic, colorful touch, while the pearly beads soften the whole for a luminous, harmonious finish.
One of the great advantages of this tutorial is its great potential for personalization. You can freely choose the color of the 3 mm gemstone beads to create a unique ring to match your style or other jewelry. Whether you like soft, natural or more contrasting tones, all the beads you need are available in our dedicated gemstone selection.
The mounting technique, based on wire wrapping and twisting, is simple and perfectly suited to jewelry-making beginners. For a neat result, we recommend the use of flat-nose pliers to tighten the wire around the ring, as well as cutting pliers for a clean finish.
Once you've finished your heart ring, don't hesitate to share your creation on social networks by tagging our Facebook page or Instagram account. We love discovering your creations and seeing how you make our DIY jewelry tutorials your own!

Here's what you'll need to make your ring.

Start by cutting 35cm of copper wire.

Wrap the wire around one end of the ring. Repeat the operation 3 times, making sure to tighten the turns of wire together.

Thread the first bead, then pass the wire through the center of the ring and tighten the wire around the bead and ring.

Repeat the same operation all the way around the heart ring, alternating the beads and making sure the wire is tight around the ring. Don't hesitate to use a pair of flat pliers to tighten and twist the wire.

I chose to follow this sequence: an Indian Agate bead, a pearly bead, an Indian Agate bead and a stainless steel bead.

All that's missing here is one last bead.

Once the last bead has been threaded, all you have to do is make several turns of wire around the ring to finish it off.

I made 3 turns of wire in the remaining space on my ring. Now all you have to do is cut off the excess wire with a pair of wire cutters, and make sure you fold the wire ends over with the flat pliers, so they don't catch on your skin or clothes.

Your new favorite ring is now ready to wear!
