This turquoise and gold beaded bracelet combines Kos® and Paros® glass beads by Puca® with gold Miyuki 15/0 seed beads. How do you make a turquoise and gold beaded bracelet using Puca® beads?
Our partner, Les perles par Puca®, offers a turquoise and gold beaded bracelet made of small turquoise and emerald green glass beads, separated by strands of gold seed beads that form openwork patterns. The shimmer of the gold contrasts with the blended hues of the beads, ensuring the bracelet stands out clearly on both fair and tanned skin.
The bracelet combines two types of glass beads by Puca®. The Kos® beads by Puca® are featured here in Mishmash Emerald. The Paros® beads by Puca® are in Mishmash Turquoise. The Mishmash colorway combines several shades in a single packet, creating a nuanced look without having to match the beads one by one.
The Piros® Gold Mat beads and the Miyuki 15/0 Duracoat Galvanized Gold seed beads add the gold accents. Seed beads are small, uniform glass beads, and the 15/0 size is very fine. The piece is created using needle beading with 0.12 mm Fireline thread, a fused braided thread that withstands the friction of the beads well. Extra-fine beading needles are required, as the thread is passed through the same beads several times. This tutorial is intermediate level: it requires consistency and a bit of patience, but no special tools.
