This DIY necklace is part of our Côté Jardin collection, on the theme of gemstones. The idea behind this collection is to offer you easy-to-make creations, with beautiful materials and, above all, the freedom to compose a piece of jewelry that suits you, without the need for complicated techniques.
For this model, we start with a simple, elegant base: regularly strung pearly pearls, with a few elements gilded with fine gold to give rhythm and a meticulous finish. Then, at the front of the necklace, we add several faceted gemstone drop pendants. These set the style: they add color, a little relief and a very clean finish, while keeping the necklace light and easy to wear.
This tutorial is really accessible thanks to the 2-in-1 round crush beads. No more visible mountings and pearl covers to add: these golden crush beads are designed to combine practicality and aesthetics. They ensure both a solid hold for your wires and a neat finish, without the need for any additional elements. The result: a necklace that's neat, clean and fun to make, even if you're a beginner.
And the best part is the customization: you can adapt the colors of the faceted drops to your desires, by choosing your favorite stones from the selection available in our catalog. Soft tones, contrasting colors or a mix of stones... it's up to you to create your own version!

Cut approximately 45 cm of cord. Thread one end of the wire through a wire protector. Add the clasp to its ring and then slip a 2-in-1 Crimp bead into both wires and crush it with flat-nose pliers.

Here's the sequence of beads I chose.

Here's how to thread the faceted drop pendants.

Once you've finished stringing all your beads, slip on a 2-in-1 Crimp bead, followed by a wire protector and a ring. Thread the wire back through the bead and flatten it with pliers.

Here's how your new necklace looks!
