Create dangling earrings with a stainless steel chandelier and natural stone charms. An easy-to-make tutorial that takes just a few minutes to assemble!
In this tutorial, we'll show you how to make a pair of easy-to-make earrings, ideal for starting out in DIY jewelry design.
These DIY earrings combine strong symbols and natural materials. Finely worked gold elements combine with pearls in deep shades of emerald green, creating an elegant contrast.
The eye symbol evokes protection and intuition. Often associated with the "evil eye", it is traditionally worn as a protective talisman, designed to ward off negative energies and enhance inner clairvoyance.
The hand, inspired by the protective hand (often called Fatma's hand or Hamsa), symbolizes benevolence, luck and protection. It is considered a powerful good-luck charm, bringing strength and serenity to the wearer.
African turquoise and malachite charms, with their deep, natural reflections, are associated with balance, harmony and the heart chakra. They evoke growth, renewal and emotional healing. Their intense hue adds a touch of mystery and sophistication.
These earrings are much more than a simple accessory: they're genuine handmade talismans, designed to combine style, symbolism and positive energy.
They can be customized ad infinitum, so we've created two variations, one in shades of green, the other in orange tones with carnelian charms. Natural stone charms are available in many other variations. Ear studs can also be replaced. You'll find all our stainless steel stud earrings on our website,

Open the top loop of each nail-mounted charm (charm with washers and charm with chip beads) using flat-nose pliers. Slide the ring into the chandelier and close with the pliers.

Assemble the other charms with open rings in the order below, and connect the stud to the chandelier with an open ring.
To balance the pendant, the charm with the chips should be positioned on the ring in the center of the chandelier.

Repeat for the second earring, reversing the 4 charms on either side of the central one.

These earrings can be made in a variety of colors, and we've done a variation with carnelian charms, for example.
