Learn how to make pearl creoles with our brand new tutorial! If you're looking to make a new pair of earrings with the arrival of warmer weather, these beautiful bohemian-chic creoles are just what you need. Inspired by the enchanting hues of the ocean and nature, they add a whimsical touch to any seasonal look.
Made with small Agate beads, small stainless steel beads and Miyuki 6/0 seed beads, these colorful creoles are easy to make and accessible even to beginners. They don't require any special technique, simply stringing the beads. If you wish, you can change the color of the rocailles - we have many other Miyuki colors available on the site. The same goes for the natural stone beads, which are available in 11 other colors that you can see directly on the product sheet.
If you like this type of tutorial, we also have a tutorial for creoles with coiled beads, creoles with gradient beads, or creoles with spinner beads.

Start by cutting a piece of copper wire approx. 1m long. Pass it through the first hole in the creole and lay the end on its side. Make one or two turns to secure the wire.

Then thread a natural stone bead and a seed bead through the first hole in the creole.

Then thread two beads through the same hole. Don't hesitate to place the beads carefully and tighten them a little to ensure they sit correctly.

Let's move on to the next hole. To do this, thread a seed bead through again, followed by a natural stone bead, and take a turn in the next hole.

You can now thread two seed beads through the same hole. As before, don't hesitate to position the beads correctly and adjust the clamping if necessary.

Here, I also thread a small gold bead through the same hole.

You can repeat these steps throughout the creole in the same order as above. Depending on the natural placement of the beads, feel free to add a few more beads from time to time if you think it's necessary.
We'll now finalize the creole by going back to the beginning of the creole. Take up the thread you had set aside and straighten it.

Make a few turns around the creole as shown in the photo. I advise you to do two or three to secure the threading.

Cut off the excess thread and fold the end of the thread against the creole so that it doesn't snag.
