Cut a piece of thread and string three beads, one pink, one green and one pink.

Welcome to this tutorial on how to create beaded flowers. Over the past few years, one of the jewelry trends has been seed bead daisies (we've got a few daisy tutorials on our site, so don't hesitate to take a look). Today, I'd like to introduce you to a new way of creating beaded flowers. We're going to use crystal toupee beads, a must-have in costume jewelry design, which you may already have seen on our tuto Bague Carrée 9 Fleurs en Toupies PureCrystal. Ready to go?
This beginner's tutorial is suitable for all levels of jewelry-making. The technique is very easy to understand; as a newcomer to jewelry making, I managed to make this creation, and if I did, so can you! Here, I show you how to personalize creoles, but once you've mastered the technique, you can use it to personalize a bracelet, a necklace... as you wish. That's what I love about hobbies, once we've mastered the basics, we're free to explore, experiment and create according to our own vision and imagination.
For this pair of hoop earrings, I used 4 mm AB matte-effect pearls from Preciosa. I chose pink and green shades to represent a flower, but we have a wide selection of crystal bicones on our website, so you can choose your favorite shades and let your creativity run wild. In the last step of this tutorial, I'm proposing a second pair of creoles, but this time with AB 5 mm shaded tops.
Bring on spring with this pretty pair of floral creoles! Why wait until spring to wear colorful, flowery jewelry? February is just around the corner, so chase away the dreariness with a brand-new pair of earrings! We've also got a selection of flowery tutorials to get you ready for the return of the sun, so don't hesitate to take a look.

Cut a piece of thread and string three beads, one pink, one green and one pink.

Thread a gold bead, and pass the other end of the thread through the bead in the opposite direction to create a loop.

Tighten by pulling on both wires, and thread a pink pearl onto each wire.

Add a green bead to one of the strands and pass the second strand through the bead in the opposite direction to create a loop.

Add a pink bead to each strand, and cross the strands in a gold bead.

Thread a pink pearl onto each strand.

To form the second flower, cross the threads in the first green bead.

Tighten the threads and you have your pearl flower.

The last step is to tie a double knot. If you want it to be invisible, pass one of the wires through the center of the flower and tie a double knot.

Bend your flower over the creole, and repeat the steps to form 9 flowers.

Here's a variation on the tutorial, using 5 mm spinning tops in gradient shades.
The list of materials can be found at the bottom of the page in the "Variations" section.
