Cut 1 yard of yarn. Thread it through a needle. Thread 4 facets of 4 mm Bohemian. Place them in the middle of the thread. Pass the needle through the first bead threaded so that the threads cross over the bead and form a bead loop.
On the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Perles and Co, rediscover one of the very first tutorials of the site: The square crystal ring with its 9 flowers! Many of our historical customers have known us with the small faceted crystal beads. These rings were all the rage in the 2000s. If you're over 30, you've probably already made one! Since vintage is in fashion, we thought this would be the perfect tutorial to satisfy the nostalgic in us. Here it is again! Ladies and gentlemen, make way for the sparkling crystal beads!
This June 14th, we celebrate not only the 18 years of Perles and Co but also the 2000 tutorials freely available on the site! For this very special moment, the boss has accepted to make himself the video tutorial of this mythical ring. Will Jean-Etienne dazzle you with his pearl weaving skills? You'll find out by watching the video!
This tutorial was made with 4mm bohemian facets and 4mm PureCrystal beads. You can also do it with 3 mm beads. You can find the beads of the pink version in the variations section.

Cut 1 yard of yarn. Thread it through a needle. Thread 4 facets of 4 mm Bohemian. Place them in the middle of the thread. Pass the needle through the first bead threaded so that the threads cross over the bead and form a bead loop.

Thread 2 facets on one end of the yarn and 1 facet on the other end of the yarn. Thread the needle through the second bead on the other thread to form a new loop.

Thread 1 facet on one thread and 2 facets on the other thread. Thread the needle through the single facet on the other thread.

Thread 2 facets on one thread and 1 facet on the other thread. Thread through the single facet on the old thread with the needle.

Thread through the top bead of the center group of the first row. Thread 2 facets on the other thread, pass the needle through the second threaded bead.

Thread through the top bead of the first group of beads in the first row. Thread 1 bead onto each wire. Cross the threads in the bottom bead.

String 3 beads on the left wire. Pass the other thread through the third bead. Thread through the top bead of the center group of the second row.

Thread 2 beads on the bottom thread. Pass the needle through the second bead. Thread through the top bead of the first group of the second row.

Thread 1 bead on each thread and pass the needle through the bottom bead. The checkerboard that serves as a support is finished.

Turn the square so that the wires are on the top left. On each side of the wire, thread 1 x 4 mm router. On one side, thread 1 rocaille. Pass the other wire through the rockery to cross the wires.

Thread 1 router on one side and pass through the facet on the bottom. Do the same on the other side. You get a 4 spinner flower above the last group of facets.

Repeat steps 10 and 11 to make the flower below, then the next one.

Follow the pattern to pass the wire through the beads and position them both in the correct facet to continue. Then repeat steps 10 and 11 again to make the next two flowers.

At the end of the row, again, pass the threads through the beads to position them in the right place to make the next two flowers.

At the end of the row, again, thread the beads to position them in the right place to make the next flower.

Place yourself in the right facet and then make the last flower in the center. Tie the wires in the back using the woven wires to tie your bows. Thread the ends of the wires through several beads to hide them, then cut them off. Put glue on the knots, then glue your weaving to the ring's tray.
