1st step - sewing for beginner the material

What equipment should you have to start sewing?
First, it is important to know that at the beginning it is better to have little material but good material!
So simple ... stay. but effective!

A good pair of scissors: your best ally to start!
They should only be used to cut fabric or they get damaged.
I have a clear preference for 24cm  tailor scissors, for their cutting comfort. The choice will also be based on your budget.

To mark the fabric before cutting a tracing tool is essential..
Between tailor's chalk, mark pen, chalk pencils, tracer powder, soap ... there also an important choice, there is nothing to lose!
For example, white and blue:  :blue will mark the clear tissue on which the White does not see enough

2 additional marking instruments are: the square and the large ruler  (30cm minimum).
To draw geometric elements on cloth or paper. The square schoolboy is sufficient to start sewing.

Pins to hold two pieces of fabric together.
The basic small  pins with metal heads are fine. But if you are afraid not to see the use color heads!

The essential measuring tape!

Needles.
Take an assortment of different sizes !

Thread or yarn in every colour.
The number of coils increase as the need arises and sewing projects!
Choose your thread  there: sewing thread 

Then you need a sewing machine !
