Find the list of materials in the tutorial dedicated to this cover: Sew a zipper pouch with piping and fabric Atelier Brunette
Step 1 :
Cut two rectangles of fabric a little wider than the zipper and long enough to cover its ends from the metal stops of the zipper. Add 1 cm of margin along the length. Sew them to the closure by placing them place / place. Sew near the metal ends without sewing on it as this can damage your sewing machine. Then fold the rectangles, iron to flatten the seam and make a topstitch.

2nd step :
Place the front fabric of the pouch in front of you and place the zipper back to you. So you put them place / place.

Step 3:
Place the liner in place / place in relation to the front fabric. Pin it all along the zipper.

Step 4:
Sew the zipper with a special zipper foot. Sew all the way by putting the zipper in the center before starting. Once you get to the center, lift your crowbar and pull the cursor over the sewn part before folding down your crowbar and continue sewing.

Step 5:
Flip the fabric in the right direction and you will get this.

Step 6:
Do the second side the same way. Place the front fabric and the closing place / place and the lining and closing up / down. Repeat steps 3 to 5.

Step 7:
Iron to flatten the stitching and stitch along the seam. Again, place the cursor in the center of the closure before starting to sew.

Step 8:
Place the lining place / place and the two front pieces too. Open wide the zipper. Pin it all.

Step 9:
Sew while leaving a 10 cm opening at the lining. If your fabric is thick do not sew at the zipper because you may block your machine. Sew closer to it.

Step 10:
Cut the corners 2 mm from the seam.

Step 11:
Flip your pocket over the space left in the lining and pull out the corners with a pair of scissors, chopsticks or knitting needles.

Step 12:
Close the hole in the liner by folding the seam allowance inside and sewing near the edge.
