Cut approximately 13 cm of ribbon (the longer the ribbon, the more folds your flower will have).
Thread the needle on the edge of one end of the ribbon.


To make a ribbon flower, you'll need 16 mm light brown printed ribbon, C-Lon AA chocolate thread and a size 10 51 mm needle. This combination will enable you to create a beautiful decoration in just a few minutes.

Material and advice:
You will need a piece of ribbon, in this example we have used a Printed ribbon 16mm Light Brown.
Some thread, here some C-Lon AA thread Chocolate.
And a needle, for example this model of Needles size 10 51mm.

Step 1:
Cut approx. 13cm of ribbon (the longer the ribbon, the more pleated the flower will be).
Pass the need through the end of the ribbon.

Step 2:
Make large sewing points as illustrated below.

Step 3:
Go on sewing along the length of the ribbon.

Step 4:
Pull on the thread to tighten the ribbon.

Step 5:
Sew both ends of the ribbon together.

Step 6:
Make a knot and cut the excess.

You can finish the work by sewing a fancy botton at the middle of the flower.

Make wide stitches as shown below.

Continue along the length of the ribbon.

Pull the thread to tighten the ribbon.

Sew the two ends of the ribbon together.

Tie a knot with the thread and cut off the excess.

You can also add a button in the center of the flower, for example.
