This is a characteristic specific to the Opaline range, linked to its semi-transparency: light penetrates less through the paste once hardened, which visually intensifies the color. To preserve the luminosity of your shades, place your Opaline paste on an opaque white Cernit base before firing. This trick preserves the clarity and softness of the colors.
