Do you know how to color your sequins and your jewelry findings? Add a touch of originality to your creations by covering smooth and flat metal parts with colored UV resin. You will also see how to fill the partitioned parts of pendants or openwork spacers.
Step 1
Make your mixture of UV resin and dye for resin on a piece of parchment paper.
2nd step
Place the pendant on a silicone mat to prevent the resin from sticking to the support. Take a toothpick or a needle to take a little colored resin, drop a drop in each gap of the pendant. Do not move the pendant, choose instead to place the UV LED lamp on the jewelry, press the switch once to catalyze the resin.
Stage 3
Turn the pendant over and activate your lamp again.
Step 4
To have the resin slightly in relief you must start again to deposit drops of resin until visually it seems bulged. Catalyze under the lamp again.
Step 5
Take 6 sequins to make a pair of earrings and two ear studs with a disc. Place a few drops of colored resin on these primers and then catalyze the whole.
Step 6
Proceed to assembly by adding two rings on an earring to attach the two parts.
