Stainless steel pins and crimp beads are your best allies for creating flawless jewelry. These small findings make all the difference between a homemade piece of jewelry and one with a professional finish.
Why You’ll Love Stainless Steel:
Our lineup offers three types of studs to suit all your projects. Ball-head pins are the most versatile, perfect for minimalist and elegant designs. Flat-head pins provide a stable base for large-hole beads. Round-head pins add a subtle decorative touch to your creations.
Crimp beads secure your beads or clasps onto wire or nylon thread in a single step. They create discreet and ultra-reliable stops so your jewelry stands the test of time.
For an even more professional finish, crimp beads elegantly conceal these small technical components. Your creations instantly gain a touch of sophistication and a polished look!
Our findings are available in stainless steel and in 18K or 24K gold-plated versions , or with PVD plating. This technique ensures a durable gold finish.
Whether you’re just starting out in DIY jewelry or are an experienced designer, our stainless steel crimp beads and pins will help you bring all your creative ideas to life.
Thread one or more beads onto it, then form a loop. This loop can be a simple loop or a pigtail loop, and it will allow you to attach your assembly to your jewelry.
Use a 3-in-1 plier to form loops with nails. If you don't have one, use a round-nose plier and a cutting plier.
When choosing a crimp bead, keep in mind that the thread will be threaded through the bead twice. You'll therefore need a bead with an inner diameter slightly larger than twice the diameter of your thread.
The crimp cap should be larger than your crimp bead—about 1 or 2 mm larger. So for a 3-mm crimp bead, choose a 4-mm crimp cap.
