During the galvanizing process, the stainless steel nails are hung up to be gilded. The areas below the fastening points are not treated, which brings out their original steel color.
However, this in no way affects the quality of the product. Non-galvanized parts will be masked by pearls and primers, making them invisible once your creation is complete.
