The festive season is over, and a new year begins. And a new year means a new blank page and the opportunity to write a new creative chapter.
Problem: your creativity is slowly running out of steam. So you're looking for new, original ideas to rekindle the flame of your passion. But how do you renew yourself?
Don't panic, everyone can develop their creative potential. Here are 7 easy-to-apply ideas to boost your creativity and breathe new life into your imagination:

Let your mind wander. Museum, nature, fashion, art gallery, architecture, botanical garden, market, concert, photo exhibition... Get out of your comfort zone. Observe all that surrounds you (even the small details of everyday life), soak up the colors, sounds, smells and emotions. There's nothing like it to breathe new life into your imagination and develop your creativity.
And what's more, it will help you feed your imagination and find new inspirations and ideas you may never have thought of.
Curiosity is a powerful driver of creativity. Explore the field of possibilities and nurture your curiosity: a floral motif, an interesting texture, an unusual color palette, a material, a technique, a style... If you've never used gemstones, gold-filled (laminated gold), resin or freshwater pearls, why not give it a try and discover new possibilities? Be open, curious and flexible! And to help you along, why not try out one of our tutorials- it'll be your first step towards something new!
Put yourcreative work on hold for a while and take time out to relax and regenerate your ideas.
Taking a nap, meditating, going for a walk, reading a novel, gardening, cooking, listening to music, enjoying good wine or laughing are all simple activities that encourage the emergence of new ideas. In fact, researchers have highlighted the benefits of walking in the creative process. It seems that walking encourages the emergence of new ideas. So lace up your sneakers and get out in the fresh air!
Or perhaps you'd like to use this time for something a little wilder, like parachute jumping, hot-air ballooning, via ferrata, paragliding, swimming with dolphins... Or simply taking up a regular sporting activity. Sometimes, you just need to let off steam to refocus on what's really important.

Share your experiences and skills with other designers. Take part in workshops, chat in groups on social networks, join a creative association (the knitters' club) or even just chat with your creative friends over a cup of tea or coffee... These exchanges will stimulate your creativity, opening up new horizons and perspectives. Every designer has a unique vision that could enrich yours.

Taking astep back and taking stock (without getting carried away, of course) is good for getting a fresh perspective. A break can recharge your creative batteries. A clear head is sometimes necessary to avoid overwork and lose the initial charm of your passion. Perhaps it's also an opportunity to take care of yourself.
Don't restrict your imagination or reject ideas too quickly. Even if some of them seem far-fetched or inaccessible at first, let them mature. They could turn out to be brilliant.
Write your ideas down in a notebook, so you don't lose them or regret them. Come back to them later to refine them, for example, by adding sketches, models or diagrams. Little by little, you'll find the solution to make them real.

Trust your intuition and your abilities, and don't be afraid of failure. So stop censoring yourself: believe in your ideas, persevere and dare to realize all your creative desires.
