How to clean your stainless steel jewelry?

How do I clean stainless steel?

There are several ways to care for your stainless steel jewelry and restore its shine.

• White vinegar: Simply wipe with a soft cloth and a few drops of spirit vinegar.
  Alternatively, soak your jewelry for two hours in a bath of hot water and white vinegar. Rinse with water and dry with paper towels. Please note that this tip is not suitable if your jewelry is adorned with a glue element or cabochon, as the hot water may dissolve the glue.
• Baking soda: Make a mixture of hot water and baking soda. Clean your jewelry with this solution, then rinse several times with plenty of water.
• Marseille soap: You can also use Marseille soap or washing-up liquid. Rinse several times with clean water. Finally, wipe your jewelry with a soft, clean cloth.
• Lemon: Put a little lemon juice diluted with water on a cloth, then gently rub your jewelry. Then, as always, rinse with clean water.
• Toothpaste: Gently scrub your jewelry with a toothbrush and a little toothpaste. Don't forget to rinse!

For chains and components in gold-plated stainless steel or clasps in rose gold-plated stainless steel, avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar, lemon or toothpaste. They could damage the finish.
