Stainless steel jewelry wire is a little more difficult to work with than other metal wires. But with a little practice, it's not insurmountable! To createDIY costume jewelry with stainless steel wire, you'll need :

• round-nose pliers,
• flat-nose pliers,
• a pair of wire cutters,
• a ring shaping template,
• a triboulet for forging bracelets.

For cutting stainless steel wire, use straight-cut wire cutters. If you don't have one, there are other options. We detail them in our technical data sheet.

When cutting stainless steel, your pliers can break because stainless steel is very hard.
If the pliers are not made for this type of metal, the effort is too great: the jaws are damaged or break and the wire is crushed.
