This tutorial is part of our May 2021 Jewelry Tutorials of the Month collection called Epistolary Jewelry. For this collection, we have decided to let you express yourself through alphabet beads and charms. Choose your model, compose your message and follow our step by step tutorials to create your jewel.
You can write the names of your loved ones, note your commitments or blow a benevolent or encouraging message to the person to whom you offer it. It's time to get your message across!

First, prepare your charms. Choose your beads and thread them onto ball head nails. Bend the nail at 90° about 4 mm from the bead. This angle will center the loop you will create in the next step.

Grasp the angle formed with the round pliers and rotate the rod around the pliers in the opposite direction of the angle to form a loop.

Continue wrapping the rod around the right side and trim off the excess if necessary.

For the first version of the bracelet, first thread all your letters and charms onto the wire. Then adjust the size of the bracelet diameter by holding the wires with flat pliers and running your hand through to see if it is big enough. The bracelet is almost fully lined. The parts of the wire wrapped around the charms will prevent them from slipping all over the bracelet. When you have the right size bracelet and correctly positioned the wire wrap locations, start wrapping one side by holding the wire with flat tongs and forming a 90° angle first.

This is what you should get. This version is the most difficult. If you have difficulties, please refer to the second version below.

Test the length of the wire on your wrist and cut wide enough to leave enough wire to form the loops for the clasp. Form a loop on one side with round pliers and add the spring clasp before closing it completely. You can also wrap the wire around the bracelet for a stronger finish.

Thread the beads and charms before making the second loop, which should be large enough to close the clasp.
