How do I adjust an adjustable ring?

To adjust an adjustable stainless steel ring, proceed delicately to preserve the mechanism.

  • First, slip the ring onto your finger to assess the amount of adjustment required.
  • Using both hands, gently press the ends of the ring inwards if it's too large, or spread them slightly apart if it's too tight.
  • Make gradual adjustments of a few millimeters at a time, rather than one big sudden movement that could weaken the metal, even if it's strong.
