Bring a wild touch to your creations with this leopard transfer sheet from VeroS for polymer clay, easy to apply and full of style!
This transfer sheet is a real asset for personalizing your polymer clay creations . Its leopard pattern, combining beige, black and touches of pink, brings a trendy, bold spirit to your jewelry or DIY accessories. Thanks to its soluble paper base, the transfer is easy to apply: simply place on the clay, adhere and remove the film after drying to reveal the pattern on the surface. The result is clean, precise and long-lasting, ideal for giving character to your modelled pieces.
Once the image has been transferred, the clay can be cut and applied to a support to create beautiful DIY jewelry. Please note, however, that it can only be used once.
You can use any polymer clay, but the result will be of better quality if you use clear clay.
How to use soluble transfer sheets for polymer clay?
- Roll out your Fimo clay with a roller or polymer clay machine.
- Cut out the pattern and place it on the clean, smooth clay (before baking).
- Smooth with your fingers or gently with the roller to remove any air bubbles. Leave to rest for 10-15 minutes to allow the ink to transfer to the clay.
- Spray the transfer sheet with water, or run the tiles directly under a low-temperature water tap (a small trickle of water is required). Rub away any remaining paper with your finger. Once the paper has dissolved, the image remains on the polymer.
- Leave to dry for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Quickly cut the plate as required and apply it to the desired surface. Handle the clay carefully, avoiding placing your fingers on the image.
- Bake your polymer clay as usual, at the temperature specified by the manufacturer.
- If any paper residue remains after firing, you can remove it by running your piece under water (with a small trickle) and rubbing gently with your finger.
You'll be able to create all kinds of jewelry, including earrings, pendants and personalized decorative accessories!
Water-soluble paper is a bio-based material made from wood pulp fibers sourced from the Forest Steward Council (FSC) and a natural cellulose ingredient. When the material comes into contact with water, the cellulose ingredient dissolves and the wood pulp fibers separate and remain. This revolutionary technology is readily biodegradable to OECD 301B standards. Microorganisms and bacteria then help to further break down the wood pulp fibers, resulting in complete biodegradation.
