Enhance your polymer clay jewelry with this VeroS Transfer Sheet No. 337, a water-soluble paper that lets you easily print unique patterns onto the surface of your DIY creations.
Thanks to its water-soluble paper backing, the leopard pattern can be applied directly to the raw clay and adheres precisely once the paper dissolves upon contact with water. The result is smooth, crisp, and seamlessly integrated into the clay’s surface.
This transfer sheet measures 13.5 x 9 cm and features a pattern printed on a bio-based, water-soluble backing made from FSC-certified wood pulp fibers and a natural cellulose ingredient. When it comes into contact with water, the paper gradually dissolves, leaving only the image on the clay.
Please note: Each sheet is for single use only, and the results will be best on a light-colored polymer clay.
To use this sheet, roll out your polymer clay, place the pattern face-down against the smooth, clean clay, smooth it out to remove any air bubbles, then let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Spray with water or run the piece under a trickle of cold water to dissolve the paper, gently rub with your finger, let it dry, then bake as usual. Once baked, you’ll have beautiful pieces to incorporate into your DIY jewelry: pendants, earrings, brooches, or cabochons to glue onto a setting.
Whether you’re just starting out with Fimo clay or already have some experience, you’ll find tutorials and technical guides on the website to walk you through the process step by step: choosing tools, cutting techniques, assembling baked pieces, tips for working with polymer clay, and many other practical tips to help you progress at your own pace.
Water-soluble paper is a bio-based material made from wood pulp fibers sourced from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and a natural cellulose ingredient. When the material comes into contact with water, the cellulose component dissolves, and the wood pulp fibers separate and remain. This revolutionary technology is readily biodegradable in accordance with OECD Standard 301B. Microorganisms and bacteria then help break down the wood pulp fibers even further, allowing for complete biodegradation.
