How to make epoxy rings?
Take your polymeric fruit canes and using a scalpel, cut several thin slices. We leave it up to you to choose the fruits you want to select!
Prepare your material, your slices of fruit previously cut, arrange your molds and then put on your gloves, your mask to protect you. Work in a well ventilated room.
In a cup, mix the resin according to the instructions on the packaging, here we will mix 2 doses of bottle A for 1 dose of bottle B. Here it will be enough to make several rings.
Stir gently so as not to make too many bubbles. It is best to work in a room without direct sunlight.
Pour a base of resin into your mould and then arrange the slices around the ring. Pour more resin up to the top of the mould. Be careful, it flows quickly!
If the slices have moved, don't panic, replace them gently with a pair of pliers.
You must now be patient, let your rings catalyze in a dark place, for example in a closet for 24 to 48 hours (we recommend 48 hours to be sure that everything will be catalyzed). The more important your resin work is, the more you will have to let it catalyze.
You can finally take your beautiful jewels out of the mould!
