Rudraksha beads are seeds from a tree native to India. These seeds are of sacred value to Hindus. It is said that the god Shiva, while having a vision of the wishes and sufferings of mankind, wept a tear that gave birth to the Rudraksha tree. It is believed that, depending on the number of faces on the seed, it has different powers. The ones we sell are the most common. They are 5-sided Rudraksha beads and, according to legend, are supposed to facilitate inner peace and meditation. These beads are often found on meditation malas, especially for yoga.
They are also used for jewelry in India. Cut almost two full turns of memory wire with a special memory wire cutter. The bracelet will only make one turn, but the beads are large, so you need to enlarge the diameter of the bracelet. Once the beads are strung, it will take care of itself.
If your wrist size is more than 15.5 cm, you will need a little more than two turns, 1 extra bag of Rudraksha beads and 1 extra bag of cups.
On one end, form a loop with round pliers. You will need to push the wire against the pliers with your finger, as the wire is very hard to form.
String the following beads: 1 rudraksha 10 mm, then 4 times 1 cup, 1 rudraksha 10 mm, 1 cup. Then 1 single time, 1 cup, 1 rudraksha 12 mm, 1 cup then repeat 4 times 1 cup, 1 rudraksha 10 mm, 1 cup and finish with 1 rudraksha 10 mm.
You may need to adjust the number of beads according to the width of your wrist. Test on your wrist before cutting off the excess thread and forming the loop.
Open the loops on the wire a little and slide the clasp through. Then close the loops tightly.
