How to weave a kawaii pattern in Brick stitch?
Estelle from the blog Mon petit bout de chou suggests that this year we weave a rather kawaii little corgi dog to celebrate Chinese New Year 2018! And yes, it's the dog that's in the spotlight this time! Mounted as a necklace or brooch, you'll be the envy of many!
This weaving is made using the brickstitch technique with Miyuki Delicas 11/0 beads, but have fun changing the colors among our 900+ references of Miyukis Delicas 11/0 beads.
If you're a beginner, don't hesitate to read our technical sheet on how to make a brick stitch weave with augmentation and reduction. And if you're not satisfied after that, head over to our Miyuki bead weavingpage to weave lots more brick stitch patterns.
Thanks to Estelle for sharing her diagram.

If you decide to mount your weaving as a brooch or jewelry piece, you can first stiffen it with Paper Patch glue varnish. You can also use it as a keyring or bookmark.

We love seeing your creations, so don't hesitate to send us photos of your kawaii woven dog on Facebook or tag us on Instagram with #perlesandco!
