Link to the cherry tree brooches from the week before => indicate similarity of beads. Just need to add the turquoise beads.
Cut 1.5 m of thread and thread a needle on each end of the thread. Weave the row of beads shown in the diagram. For a more detailed explanation of Brick Stitch weaving see the tutorial in the introduction. Place the beads in the center of the thread.
Remove one of the two needles and begin weaving the left or right side of the crane, increasing or decreasing as necessary.
Stitch the pike to the weave then wedge the thread into the weave and cut it. You can stiffen the weave by applying glue to the back of the pin.
