Cut 3 cm of chain. Open the ear hook ring by rotating the end with flat-nose pliers and slide the chain through. Close the ring, making sure that the end of the ring touches the loop so that there's no gap between the two.

Fruit and vegetable jewelry is all the rage! In this tutorial, discover how to create grape-shaped ear rings using crystal beads. Without necessarily resembling a bunch of grapes, this type of earring is a classic in jewelry design. Clusters of pearls earrings can be created in a multitude of ways, simply by changing the pearls used. They are made as follows: Attach a piece of chain to an ear hook, then make charms with the pearls and flat-head or ball-head studs. These charms are then attached to the chain.
To make our pearl grape clusters, we're going to use several sizes of round crystal beads: 8 mm, 6 mm and 5 mm. The larger pearls will give more volume at the top of the earring, while the smaller pearls will be used at the bottom to refine the bottom of the cluster. For our example, we've used purple-toned pearls, but you'll find green-toned pearls in the variation section of the equipment list to create green grape cluster earrings. Using pearls in different shades also adds depth to the overall effect.
This earring technique doesn't require much chain length. Just as well, this chain reference has also been used in other tutorials, so you can use it to redo them if you're interested:

Cut 3 cm of chain. Open the ear hook ring by rotating the end with flat-nose pliers and slide the chain through. Close the ring, making sure that the end of the ring touches the loop so that there's no gap between the two.

Thread the 8 mm beads onto the 0.7 mm nails. Bend the nail at right angles to the bead. Recut the nail to leave 8 mm of nail tip. Catch the end with the round pliers and form a loop. Before closing it completely, slide the first nail into the chain link where the hook ring is located, then close it. Make sure you haven't left any gaps where the chain could come out. Secure the second nail with the second 8 mm bead in the third chain link.

Prepare the charms with 6 mm tanzanite-coloured beads and 0.6 mm nails, using the same method as above. Attach one bead to the second link of the chain, another to the fourth and the last to the seventh link.

Move on to creating charms with three more Amethyst-colored beads. Place them on the fifth, sixth and eighth links.

Finish with four charms made from 5 mm pearls. Place them on the ninth link, two charms on the tenth link and one on the twelfth link. Recut the few remaining chain links.

Finish by attaching two leaves on either side of the hook ring with a joining ring.
