Step 1
Prepare everything you put in the resin. All your flowers or plants must be dry so that the resin can take well. The drying stage must be done well in advance, the largest flowers can be hung heads down, the smaller ones placed on a flat support. Dry in the dark. You can urgently dry your flowers 5 minutes at 100 degrees in your oven but they will lose some of their colors.

2nd step
Protect yourself by wearing gloves and working in an airy room. Make your mixture by first pouring 2 doses of resin in a container and then add with the help of your measuring cup provided a single dose of hardener, 40 mm resin and 20 mm hardener. Stir with a stick, divide the mixture into 2 cups. Wait 5 minutes for the bubbles to disappear before pouring the mixture into your mold.

Step 3
Pour a little of the resin in the bottom of your mold to half the height. You will delicately take each flower or petal with forceps, soak in one of the 2 cups of resin that is now reserved for this purpose . Replace your inclusions one by one or you want in the resin placed in the bracelet.
The small bubbles that form should be maximally removed by dragging them up out of the mold. Fill your mold with resin to the top while continuing to put petals or just resin.
you can do as you want the flowers and petals are light and do not fall down the mold like heavier things.

Step 4
You must wait 3 or 4 days before unmolding your parts. Wait another week before making the necessary finishes to get a finished jewel. We advise you not to touch too much your parts freshly molded because they are not taken in their heart and you risk to mark them with your fingerprints. The bottom of your bracelet has marks that must be removed.
You will proceed using a 150-grit abrasive, place your resin on the paper back and forth in one direction and another until the excess material disappears. Go to grain 320 then 1200. To find transparency it will have to polish either by hand with micro-meshs or with a polishing drum and soft discs.

We have a wide selection of molds that can be used to make this technique. You can have fun making rings, pierced beads, ear studs and cabochons.
