This weaving is done with the "Brick Stitch" weaving method, which you will find all the detailed explanations on my blog: www.etoilespistache.fr .

On the occasion of the release of my book"Tissage et broderie en perles Miyuki" I decided to offer you an exclusive weaving diagram made for the festive season. And yes, this is the long-awaited moment of the Christmas period, for which everyone is preparing more or less in advance.
In any case, I decided to offer you a diagram of cats in Christmas sweaters with different possible variations. Choose according to your preferences the colour of the cat and the pattern of the sweater among the fir tree, the red berries or the flower. And if it's too hard to choose, then crack on and make these three little kittens crowned for the holidays.
You will be able to make out of this weaving of pretty brooches to offer, small table or tree decorations, or even pretty unique DIY Christmas cards! Indulge yourself and give free rein to your imagination to give life to your weavings.
Find at the bottom of the page all the necessary material to make these adorable little cats.
If you wish to make one cat individually, find the details of the necessary references in the first steps of the tutorial.

This weaving is done with the "Brick Stitch" weaving method, which you will find all the detailed explanations on my blog: www.etoilespistache.fr .

Choose your starting method (on 1 row - "ladder" or on 2 rows) and start your weave at the point indicated by the arrow.
Don't forget to start by putting your first beads in the middle of your yarn so that you have a "waiting" yarn that will allow you to weave the second half of the pattern.

Weave the first half continuously until the diagram stops. Then replace your yarn so that you can continue weaving the other parts of the pattern.
When one half is woven, tuck in and cut your thread.
Resume weaving with the other yarn left on hold to weave the other side of the pattern.

Choose your starting method (on 1 row - "ladder" or on 2 rows) and start your weave at the point indicated by the arrow.
Don't forget to start by putting your first beads in the middle of your yarn so that you have a "waiting" yarn that will allow you to weave the second part of the pattern.
To weave the single pearl on either side of the crown, thread a pearl and pass your needle directly through the pearl next to it.
The pearl will be placed in the other direction (this is the desired effect!).
