Want to try your hand at bead weaving? Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads are perfect! With their cylindrical, uniform shape, Miyuki 11/0 beads are the most commonly used.
Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads are cylindrical Japanese seed beads with thin walls and a large hole. As a result, they align precisely to the millimeter, sit evenly side by side, and allow the thread to pass through multiple times—a real advantage for peyote stitch or brick stitch.
With a diameter of about 1.6 mm and a height of 1.3 mm, they produce a dense, flat, and even weave. This is the size most commonly found in weaving patterns and tutorials: ideal for beginners and fine enough for precise patterns.
Beginners: Start with a small bracelet on the loom using a few colors. Experienced crafters: Play with contrasts—a matte background accented with metallic or AB touches always makes a statement.
