What size to choose for a bangle bracelet ?

The bangle bracelet is THE bracelet to have in your jewelry box. Absolutely trendy, we can't resist the soft tinkling of bracelets that clink together when worn in accumulation.

The special thing about these bracelets is that they are slipped onto the wrist, rather than being fastened like soft bracelets with clasps. But it's important to know the right size so that the jewel is easy to put on, comfortable to wear and doesn't slip down your arm.

How to find the right size?

1. With another bangle

If you have another bangle bracelet on hand, it's even easier. Simply measure the inside diameter of the bracelet. This corresponds to the size of the bezel.

2. With a tape measure

  • Fold your thumb over the palm of your hand, as if you were putting on the bracelet.
  • Pass the tape measure around your hand and measure the size of your palm at the widest point (not the circumference of your wrist).
  • Take the measurement.
  • Refer to the table below.

The bangle bracelet is a rigid, circular bracelet known since Antiquity. Initially reserved for the elite, because they were often adorned with precious stones, over time they became a must-have accessory, popularized by fashion icons such as Coco Chanel and Jackie Kennedy.
Today, there are numerous models of bangle bracelets in metal (silver, gold-plated, brass...) or made from various materials such as wood or resin. They come in both feminine and masculine forms, with twisted, hammered or braided patterns, charms, engravings...

Feminine, timeless and elegant, beaded bracelets can be worn on their own or in a trendy stack with beaded bracelets, chain bracelets or other beads. In fact, if you're looking for ideas for DIY bracelets to go with your wedding band, take a look at our tutorials for inspiration.
