Tutorial steps

Step 1

Take your two strands of wool (the old ball and the new ball) between your thumb and forefinger, with the ends of the yarn from both wools sticking out slightly.

Step 2

With the new yarn, form a first loop by wrapping the yarn around your thumb, then a second loop.

Step 3

Pass this same thread between your thumb and index finger.

Step 4

Tuck the wool threads inside the two loops you just formed, then pull the thread from the new ball.

Step 5

And there you have it, a strong and invisible knot. All you have to do now is cut off the excess wires.

Step 6

Now you can continue knitting or crocheting as normal to finish your DIY project.
