Which pliers for which uses?

When it comes to creating jewelry, it's essential to have the right tools. And pliers are one of them. As designers know, they are essential to every stage of even the most basic production.
But there are as many types of pliers as there are uses. There are pliers that cut, pliers that clamp, pliers that shape, pliers that crush... It's hard to know which pliers to use, especially when you're a beginner.
To help you, we've put together an overview of the main pliers in use and their functions.

1. Ring pliers

6. Round pliers

7. Multifunction pliers

8. Metal and wire working pliers
