Although lightweight, our components (pendants, Spacers) are selected for their density and robustness. However, as with all natural materials, we recommend not subjecting them to high pressure or constant humidity to prevent them from splitting.

For creations designed for toddlers, be sure to choose beads that meet the EN 71-3 standard. Our beads in beechwood comply with the EN 71-3 standard, as they are saliva-resistant and pose no risk of toxicity, provided they are securely mounted.

If you're using raw wood, a thin coat of matt varnish or protective oil can be applied to protect the piece from perspiration and cosmetics (perfumes, lacquers). For parts already stained or varnished, a simple wipe-down with a dry cloth is all that's required.
