Add a touch of metallic sophistication to your creations with these Half Tila Beads Miyuki Mat Metallic Blue Green Iris, with their subtly satiny iridescent blue-green highlights. These rectangular beads with two holes are perfect for structured bracelets, rings or necklaces.
These flat Japanese beads measure 5 x 2.3 x 1.9 mm and are pierced with two holes, making them particularly suitable for structured weaving techniques. Their matte metallic finish softens reflections while retaining blue-green shades that change with the light, with iridescence reminiscent of a beetle's wings. The matte surface treatment gives a contemporary look, less glossy than classic iris colors.
What to do with Half Tila?
These beads lend themselves well to the creation of bracelets woven in brick stitch or peyote, where their two holes create solid, regular structures. They can also be combined with Miyuki seed beads to add texture, or incorporated into lightweight geometric earrings. Their matte blue-green hue blends well with neutral tones such as gray, white or black, but also with gold or copper colors for a contrasting effect.
Whether you're new to bead weaving or already have some experience, tutorials and technical sheets are available to help you with your projects. Please note thatdue to their shape, the fineness of the glass and the drilling (2 holes), Half Tila beads are more fragile than other Miyuki beads.
To prevent the pearls from cracking or chipping, Miyuki recommends treating the bags with the utmost care.
The use of a beading mat is strongly recommended when emptying Half Tila bags.
