Miyuki beads are Japanese MiyukiI glass beads, size 6/0 (approx. 3.8 mm in the direction of the hole, 4.5 mm in diameter).
They are perfectly uniform and allow the thread to be passed through multiple times. They are ideal for bead weaving, with or without a loom.
Note: At Miyuki, the smaller the size, the larger the bead’s diameter. Miyuki 6/0 seed beads are therefore larger than you might think!
What can you make with Miyuki beads?
A pretty choker, a long necklace, a bracelet, an anklet, accessories, or home decor... Make a multi-strand bracelet with memory wire and personalize it with a first name or an inspiring phrase!
Make a beaded bracelet for summer just like in our tutorial. To do this, simply thread the seed beads onto elastic thread and add a few gold beads and fish-shaped beads.
Take inspiration from our tutorial and make a women’s necklace by replacing the Heishi beads with Miyuki beads.

The colors found in Miyuki mixes are achieved by simultaneously dyeing several colors that were already blended during the previous manufacturing process. This may vary depending on the date of manufacture. Consequently, the final color is not specific to each individual color present in the mix. Individual colors are not listed or sold separately.
