Our Jardin Secret collection is a concentrate of colorful jewelry that smells like spring. Find out in this tutorial how to make a multi-row necklace mixing several materials: Seed beads and freshwater pearls. Stacking necklaces have been on trend for several seasons now, and don't be afraid to mix materials! It takes around thirty minutes to make these three necklaces.
The first necklace is a mix of pink, green and purple Seed beads, to which freshwater pearls are added. It is worn like a choker.
The second necklace features a rectangular ribbed chain and tulip-shaped flower beads, hung like charms.
The third necklace is a very fine beaded chain, to which we add a pink butterfly pendant. You can choose another butterfly pendant if pink doesn't suit you: we also offer it in yellow, purple, red and white. You'll find these variations in the product variations section, under the product list.
This tutorial doesn't require much in the way of materials: all you'll need are a pair of wire cutters, flat-nose pliers and round-nose pliers. The measurements here are adapted to our model's neck size, so be sure to adapt the length of your necklaces to your neck size. Don't hesitate to test the wire or chains before cutting them.

Start by cutting about 40 centimetres of wired thread. This measurement should be adjusted according to the size of your neck, and bearing in mind that this will be the necklace closest to your neck.
Once you've cut your wire, slip on a bead to be crushed, followed by a wire protector. Pass your wire through the bead again, then crush it with the appropriate pliers.
Cover your crush bead with a crush bead cover. Then crush it with your flat-nose pliers.
Now slip an open 5x0.8mm ring into your cable protector, and add your carabiner clasp. You can now close the whole thing.
Start stringing your beads, alternating freshwater pearls and Seed beads from your mix.
Here, I've strung about 34.5cm of beads to make the whole necklace.
To finish, repeat steps 1 and 2 of the tutorial. Slide the excess wire into the first 4 beads of your necklace to hide it, then cut off the excess.
Next, open a 5x0.8mm ring and slide it into the wire guard. You can close it again; your first necklace is now complete.
Slide a ball-headed nail into the flower in the color of your choice.
Cut with wire cutters so that only 1 cm of wire remains, and bend it at 90° with flat-nose pliers. Then form a loop with fine-tip round-nose pliers by catching the end of the nail and turning it in the opposite direction to the angle. Don't close your loop completely - you'll need it in the next step.
Slide a 3x0.6mm ring, having first opened it with two pliers, into the loop you formed in the previous step. You can hang it anywhere you like on the ribbed chain.
Repeat the same operation for all the flowers you wish to hang. I've chosen 7, so that they're symmetrically distributed on the chain.
After cutting the chain to size, bearing in mind that this necklace is in second position, attach a 5x0.8mm ring to one end. Add the lobster clasp and close.
Repeat the same step on the other end, attaching just one ring.
After cutting the bead chain to size (this will be the longest of the three necklaces), open a 3x0.4mm ring using flat and round-nose pliers. Slide it into one of the links at the end of the chain, then close it.
Slide in a 5x0.8mm ring and add the lobster clasp. You can now close the whole thing.
Repeat these same steps at the other end of the chain, replacing the clasp with the extension chain.
Open the pendant clamp with the help of two clips and hang the butterfly pendant. Before closing the pendant clip, place it in the desired position on the necklace and close it.
Your necklaces are ready!
