Resin gives infinite possibilities of creation, you can thus personalize them according to your desires and the tastes of your mom.
I propose to make a floral comb and a key ring personalized with initials.
Then earrings to customize and finally pretty bracelets with messages with Heishi beads.
These gifts can also be adapted for Father's Day, a birthday or Christmas. You just have to choose the right material for the person who will receive it.
Prepare the resin according to the kit instructions.
Pour the resin/hardener mixture into a comb-shaped mould.
Cut small pieces of gold leaf and with a stick place them in the mould.
Cut the rings and add them to the mould with some dried flowers.
Leave to dry for 48 hours then remove from the mould.
Prepare the resin according to the instructions in the kit.
Pour the mixture into a mould of the letter of your choice with the pipette provided in the kit.
Cut small pieces of gold leaf and with a stick place them in the mould.
Add also dried flowers and some pearls mixed with the resin beforehand.
Leave to dry for 48 hours then remove from the mould.
With a Dremel and a fine drill, pierce the letter at an angle through the back.
Insert a key ring.
Prepare the resin according to the instructions.
Pour the resin in 4 containers and add 2 drops of coloring (black, white, orange, brown)
With a pipette pour the different colours into the mould to create the earrings. Mix the colours slightly at the transitions.
It is also possible to add a few pieces of gold leaf.
Cut a small silicone rod (from the smallest element) to create a holder for an earring chip.
For the rest of the moulds you can add dried leaves, gold leaf or dyes of different colours. It's up to you to use your imagination.
Leave to dry for 48 hours then remove from the mould.
Glue the ear chips to the supports.
With a ring connect the elements together.
Cut a long elastic thread.
Pinch off one end to prevent loss of beads while making.
Add the beads in this order:
- 26 to 30 cream Heishi beads (depends on the size of the wrist)
- 1 gold bead
- 20 cream Heishi beads
- 1 golden Heishi ring
- 4 pink Heishi beads
- 1 blue Heishi bead
- 4 pink Heishi beads
- 1 golden Heishi ring
- 1 round letter bead (to be personalized according to the initials)
- 1 golden bead
- 1 round letter bead (to personalize according to the initials)
- 1 golden Heishi roundel
- 4 pink Heishi beads
- 1 blue Heishi bead
- 4 pink Heishi beads
- 1 golden Heishi ring
- 20 Heishi beads cream
- 1 golden bead
- 26 to 30 cream Heishi beads (depending on the size of the wrist)
Finish with a double knot.
Instead of the blue and pink Heishi beads you can put the multicolored Heishi flowers or blue violet.
It's up to you to personalize the bracelets (a nice word, a name or a bead with the sign of the zodiac) and to use your imagination.
