Opening a ring

• Hold the ring with two flat pliers positioned perpendicularly, with the opening at the top, between the two pliers.
• Open the ring by turning the pliers sideways to avoid deforming the ring.
• To close it, turn the ring wire in the opposite direction until the two ends of the ring come together. The ends should be touching.
