You can open a jumpring by:
Using an Open Ring Tool, that's the easiest way.
Using chain nose pliers, following the instructions below.
Matérial and advice:
You can use two flat nose pliers, or just one and your fingers.
Step 1:
Maintain the jump ring between both pliers.
Etape 2 :
Open and close the jump ring by moving the sides together in a back and forth wiggle motion.
This way you will not distort the circle.
Hold the ring with the two clamps. The opening is between the two clamps.
Open the ring by rotating the clamps. To close the ring, turn the clamps in the other direction and move them back and forth slightly so that the two ends of the ring are perfectly opposite each other. There should be no visible gap between them.
This way the ring will not be deformed. If you simply spread the ends apart, your ring may not look like a circle anymore.
