Yes,925 silver (or sterling silver) is generally hypoallergenic. Composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other materials (often copper), it is well tolerated by most people, especially those with sensitive skin. Unlike nickel, often responsible for skin irritations, 925 silver is an ideal option for jewelry such as pendants, bracelets and earrings. However, people who are highly sensitive to copper can sometimes react, but this is rare. 925 silver is therefore a safe solution for your DIY jewelry creations.

Silver beads don't require much maintenance. You can clean them by gently rubbing them with a soft cloth. They will regain all their shine. To care for your silver pearl jewelry, store it in a case. This will protect them from light and dust, slowing down the oxidation process.

Silver 925 can naturally tarnish on contact with air and perspiration: this is a normal chemical reaction called oxidation. To prevent this, store your jewelry in an airtight case, avoid contact with perfumes and cosmetics, and wear it after applying creams. To restore their shine, in most cases a soft silver cloth will suffice.
