Summary of knots used :
To attach the threads to the hoop, we used a lark's head knot. The next knot with 4 wires is a reverse knot, but is often called a macramé knot. The third knot is a half-key or festoon knot. These knots are then combined in a variety of ways to create other knots, such as the chain of alternating festoon knots, the frivolity stitch, baguettes... For an overview of the 11 key macramé knots, take a look at this video: "Learn the basic macramé knots".
