Elastic bracelets are almost a staple of handmade costume jewelry. This DIY tutorial is suitable for all beginners, requires very little equipment and lets you try your hand at creating jewelry quickly. Even professionals get back into elastic bracelets from time to time!
The use of elastic thread does, however, require a certain amount of knowledge, in particular you need to know how to make a surgeon's knot. You'll also find our data sheets"Which elastic thread should I choose for jewelry?" and "6 reasons why my elastic bracelet breaks or warps.
In this minute tutorial, we use 6 mm wood and moonstone beads, as well as gold-plated 925 Sterling Silver beads. At the bottom of this tutorial you'll find the materials needed to make this elastic bracelet. You can choose other gemstone colors: you can use, for example, zoïsite ruby beads for a peppy DIY bracelet, soft morganite beads or deep black spinel beads.
This natural stone and wood bracelet is presented in association with a rush bracelet. Find dozens of metal bracelet designs on our site.
