To begin, you will need all the materials listed as well as the diagram for peyote weaving that we will start with.

Thread a first bead and make a loop with the thread. This assembly bead will be used to "wedge" the weaving at the start.
String the beads of the first and second row following the diagram from right to left. The sequence of beads here (1) is therefore A, B, B, C, C, C, B, B, A.
String a new B bead (the first bead of the third row) and pass through the B bead of the second row (2). Position the beads so that they are one on top of the other.
Continue following the diagram to thread the next bead: a C bead (3) and pass through the second bead of the second row.
Continue following the diagram to thread the next bead: a D bead (4) and pass through the third bead of the second row.

And so on until the last bead of the third row (5) is threaded.
You can then remove the mounting bead (6) and pass the needle diagonally through the 3 beads shown in (6) and then back diagonally through the 3 beads shown in (7) to the outside.
Finally, pass back through the last bead of the third row and your first three rows are done! The hardest part is done.

You can then thread the beads of row 4 by following the diagram and passing between each bead through the bead of the previous row (9).
At the end of row 5, to attach the last bead and turn around, you will need to thread the last bead and insert the needle between the last beads of rows 1 and 3 (10) and then pass through the bead again in the opposite direction (11).
You will then be ready to continue weaving by following the diagram for the following rows.

When the weaving is complete, pull the thread back into the weave (12) through the work (13) until the thread is firmly held between the beads and cut flush with the beads so that the thread is no longer visible.

Take the bar and apply jewellery glue generously to the flat side (14).
Then place the weave so that it is centered on the support and press well to ensure contact between the weave and the support.
Allow to dry for 24 hours.
Your Miyuki hair clip is ready to be worn!
