Take about 2 bars from each neon dough loaf. Make each color into a strand with a diameter slightly smaller than that of your extruder, so that it can fit inside the metal tube.

How to make Heishi beads in Fimo clay?
How to create your own Heishis?
Create your own heishis with neon Fimo. Did you know that most commercially available heishis are made from polymer clay? All you need is an extruder, a hollow bead tip and some polymer clay. In this tutorial, we present Fimo's latest range in fluorescent mode, the six neon effect colors. This brightly colored paste also has a second effect: it glows in the dark under blue light.

Take about 2 bars from each neon dough loaf. Make each color into a strand with a diameter slightly smaller than that of your extruder, so that it can fit inside the metal tube.
Insert the tips into the extruder, starting by taking the disc with the 7mm hole and placing it in the part that screws into the end of the extruder. Then place the hollow bead tip on this first disc, making sure that the point in the center faces outwards and not towards the tube. Now that the paste has been placed in the extruder, all you have to do is screw on the part with the disks and turn the crank - and yes, it's a bit physical.
Once the neon Fimo has been extruded, place your tubes on a baking tray as straight as possible, and bake at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.
Wait a few minutes for the dough to cool, then use your cutter blade to cut slices into the tubes to create heishis of irregular diameters.
Compose your necklaces by threading the heishis onto wire. Finish by placing a bead larger than the center hole of the heishis on each side, followed by a crush bead and a ring. Add a lobster clasp on one side.
