How to adapt the Batik technique to polymer clay? As you probably know, polymer clay is one of the best mediums for creating all kinds of imitations of materials or craft techniques. Batik is a way of working patterns on fabrics using wax as a stencil; on polymer clay, we use gouache as a stencil, alcohol inks to color and a silkscreen to obtain a pretty pattern.
